This poetry book has been written over the course of the last 30 years. From the angst of teen years to the maturing of adulthood. The observations of life, love, loss, learning to love yourself and finding love to last a lifetime.
About the author
Cassandra has loved writing since an early age when writing
short stories for school projects was a requirement and not
a hobby. Moving onto wanting to be a lyrisist she started
branching out in style and content during her late teens,
then as it often does life happened and she put down the
pen for the next 30 years.
During 2020 pandemic with much time on her hands and a new
love interest Shelly that became her muse and inspired her
to find her voice again, the words began to flow freely.
As a wedding gift, her wife gave her the gift of publishing these
writings into a book to be shared with family and friends and
with any other person it may find its way to.
Deeply personal, these writing will take you on a journey of
observation, self discovery, self loathing, saying goodbye,
falling in love with yourself again and finally finding true love
and partner in life.
