The Last Prodigal Son is a collection of poems written during the pandemic lockdown and beyond. The poems deal with isolation, love, the existence of God, spirituality, death, psychology, childhood fantasy and the ever-changing wordplay in our secular culture.
Stephen Rogers has been writing poetry from a very early age, documenting the internal conflicts between spirituality, science, psychology in a secular society, and his vast experience with various organized religions. He is a retired Engineer following a thirty-two-year career in Nuclear Power and is now able to pursue his life-long passion for writing.
