Author Bio

Garth Sam is a professional life coach, public speaker, renaissance leader, world traveler, dog-loving, motorcycle-riding, martial artist & former Buddhist monk. While his formal education includes a psychology degree from University of Toronto and legal studies at Osgoode Hall Law School, Garth's inter- & intra- personal expertise is based on an eclectic set of learning experiences along roads less traveled, inspired by a lifelong passion for human potential development. He has studied with mystic masters, delivered motivational seminars to international audiences, run his own martial arts & fitness club, counseled probationers for the Ministry of Corrections, been the Vice President of Marketing for an IT company, led humanitarian missions to Africa, and worked in the entertainment industry. Since 2011 he has also been the founder & head of a grassroots, non-religious, non-political, fraternal organization (www.theuniversalbrotherhood.org) dedicated to building bonds & better Men, regardless of race, creed or culture. Thanks to this practical PhD in Men's Studies & the need it has revealed, Garth has become focused on working primarily as a coaching specialist for male clients. Now as a Man in his exceptional 50's he continues his personal journey towards self-mastery, even as he works to help others manifest their best.
