Nutter is recognized as a poet's poet with the intelligence and musical acumen of other popular poets like Matthew Zapruder and Ben Lerner.
Nutter is highly-respected, with a dedicated following of readers in the small press and academic communities. We expect this newest collection to be a break-out book that expands the scope of Nutter's readership.
Though this collection is grounded in the modern world, it evokes the mood of fairy tales, and should appeal to readers who like to delve into an imaginative space in the midst of the everyday.
Nutter has a strong academic presence in New York City, where he lives and teaches at NYU, and has also taught courses at the Iowa Writer's Workshop and Columbia University.
