He also writes fluidly in free verse as he embraces nature and uses the mysteries of the sea and earth to approach life and the divine. He makes walking along the shoreline or listening to waves an experience that is the pathway to love and the love of God. Author Bio

James Miller began writing poetry as an undergraduate in the English department at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in creative writing, James continued to New York University where he received his Master of Fine Arts in poetry. After graduating, he began teaching creative writing and English composition at the college level. Since then, his poetry has been published widely both at home in the States and abroad. His first book of poetry, Shell Songs, was published in 2018. James is also a singer-songwriter, and much of his music can be heard at jamesmillerarts.com. As with all things, he owes a great deal of gratitude to his father and brother for their love and support.
