Description

WinSome & Fuckdamonium is notable author Janna Lopez's first published poem collection. Notions of change, hope, transition, grief, love, and reflection coalesce to take readers on a welcoming poetic journey. Lopez shares insights for making poetry more accessible to both readers and writers. Thoughtful imagery accompanies words to provide room for reflection, and as an offering for readers to connect poetic expressions to their own individual meaning. "WinSome" denotes tethers to our inherent child-like innocence, even through difficult changing times. "Fuckdamonium" infers the contrasting unpredictable chaos life brings, even in spite of best intentions. The interplay between what we hope for in life, what actually occurs, and our internalization of these experiences, is what creates the poetics of expression.
