Reviews

"The design of each page is simple, with text set against a different patterned background. The surprises to be discovered by lifting each flap are tactile: the soft fleece of the sheep, the bumpiness of the glittery moon, and even the velvety softness of rose petals. Finally, the fox is uncoveredinside a box on which the Little Prince sits. Of course, the references from the original story wont mean much to tiny toddlers, but adults who grew up with the classic may appreciate the illustrations and notice the subtle nods to the tale." Kirkus Review

Author Bio

Corinne Delporte spent her childhood with her nose in books. After obtaining a Masters degree in History and a second one in Communication, she leaves France to settle in Montreal, where she strengthens her love of books by becoming a childrens book editor. The power of stories to make children dream, laugh, and think encourages her to start writing stories herself. Corinne is especially fond of writing about nature and its fragile beauty.
