Children can explore the jungles of the world and meet the plants, animals and insects that live there in this colourful lift-the-flap book. Peep under the flaps to discover iguanas warming themselves in the sun in the Amazon, orangutans swinging through the trees in Borneo, forest buffaloes crossing a river in West Africa, and fruit bats flitting over the treetops in South East Asia. With over 80 flaps to lift, this is an exciting introduction to rainforests and rainforest wildlife.
Since joining Usborne, Minna has written books on everything from pirates and gladiators to jungles and oceans. She studied Maths and Philosophy at university and previously worked as a journalist and illustrator in London, Bogota and New York. In her spare time, she loves writing stories, drawing and playing the guitar. While studying Architecture, Brendan Kearney realized he didn't like rulers. He also discovered that drawing pictures for a living was a legitimate and fun career option, so he traded architecture for illustration as quickly as he could. Brendan now creates children's book, bringing his own chaotic style and ideas to his projects. If you can't find him drawing you're likely to find him with a guitar or banjo in hand.
