Peep into nests and inside burrows to see the baby animals and where they live in this delightful flap book for young children.
A very simple non-fiction, lift-the-flap book for small children. Packed with holes to peep through, flaps to look beneath and snippets of factual information. A brilliant introduction to an amazing variety of animal homes, including nests, warrens, hives, dens and dams.
An absolutely delightful way to introduce children to a wide variety of animal homes... One of the best non-fiction books for young children that I have ever seen. * Parents in Touch *
This book supported the children learning about the world, different animals and their habitats. We love Usborne books as they are always well presented. The flaps are strong and durable. This book raises awareness of the natural world and can also become a great turn-taking activity! * Practical Preschool *
Its not only educational and fun, but it also feels lovely in your hands and is a top quality book. It would make a perfect present for a little person. * Raising Mighty Girls *
Like all Usborne books, it is beautifully illustrated... another fab offering from Usborne! * Activities 4 Kidz *
Written in straightforward prose which will intrigue and inform, the book opens up a wonderful hidden world of animal homes... A book thats sure to cause a flap! * Lancashire Evening Post *
Growing up on the Wirral and in Germany, Anna wrote plays about talking animals, and stories about naughty children, and drew on every available surface. After school, she did an Art Foundation course, then a degree in German Literature & Philosophy at Oxford University. In 1998 she found her perfect job at Usborne in London, writing about everything from curious penguins to trips to the Moon.
