A very simple non-fiction, lift-the-flap book for small children, packed with holes to peep through, flaps to peep beneath and snippets of factual information about what happens when night falls.
A charming, simple and beautifully illustrated lift-the-flap book for little children. Little fingers can lift the flaps in scenes of dark, quiet, sleepy night-time... and reveal the busy activity beneath. Scenes include owls, foxes and mice looking for food, bakers making bread for the morning and a sleeper train travelling through the night. A lovely introduction to the nocturnal world, perfect for sharing with little ones at bed time.
'An intriguing and enchanting adventure and the ideal bedtime book to usher in the land of nod' - Lancashire Evening Post; 'This is a brilliantly illustrated lift-the-flap book aimed at young children...the perfect bedtime story!' - First4Dads; 'For little fingers, the Peep Inside series illustrated by Simona Dimitri is stunning' - Rhino Reads
Growing up on the Wirral and in Germany, Anna wrote plays about talking animals, and stories about naughty children, and drew on every available surface. After school, she did an Art Foundation course, then a degree in German Literature & Philosophy at Oxford University. In 1998 she found her perfect job at Usborne in London, writing about everything from curious penguins to trips to the Moon.
