Author Bio

Liam Barrett was born in south Wales, April 1989. He entered the world at midnight, bopping his head to the number 1 hit 'Eternal flame' sang by sirens of pop; The Bangles. It was a good day. Today he is an illustrator, printmaker and sometimes children's book author currently living and working in Cardiff. His work is bright, bold and colourful. Heavily influenced by his work using traditional print techniques. He enjoys nothing more that sitting at his desk with a hot mug of Bovril playing some tunes and seeing what falls out of his head onto the page. He has worked for the New York Times, ran children's workshops all over the UK and exhibited worldwide.
