Author Bio

Zanni Louise is passionate about writing quality books for children and inspiring people to write their own stories.

Based in Northern NSW, Australia, Zanni has collaborated with award-winning illustrators to create picture books, includingToo Busy SleepingandArchie and the Bear. She also writes fiction series for young readers.Zannis books have been described as quirky, warm and funny, and are sold in 19 foreign territories. Shes been twice listed in the CBCA Notables, and herpicturebookArchie and the Bearwas selected for the highly prestigious international childrens catalogue: The White Ravens.

David Mackintoshhas been writing and illustrating picture books since leaving university where he received the Macmillan Picture Book Prize.

He has gone on to work in publishing, advertising andTV production, and has worked with some of the most celebrated names in childrens publishing.

His debut Marshall Armstrong is New to Our School was shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize in 2011. The Frank Show was a USBBY Outstanding International Book in 2013 and also longlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal. He followed these with Standing In for Lincoln Green which was shortlisted for the Western Writers of America Spur Awards.

He lives in London, loves books with pictures in them, flying, visiting cities and being read to.

Archie and the Bear is David's first book with Little Hare.
