Jessica Spanyol gained an MA in illustration with a distinction from the Royal College of Art in 1993. Jessica's first Children's book CARLO LIKES READING was publishedin 2001 and was based on a book she wrote when she was 6 and ahalf years old. As a child, Jessica struggled with learning to read. She now visits many schools to leadworkshopsand is passionate about the ability creativityhastodevelop self-confidence and the love of books.
