Sabrina Makhsimovahas been writing poems since elementary school. She is interested in art and music and loves reading fiction. She started writing this book when she was nine years old. A burgeoning writer and poet, she is also the author of North Pole Village.She lives in Northeast Ohio with her family.

Dinara Mirtalipovais an award-winning folk illustrator and designer. Born and raised in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, she uses a wide range of materials and tools, like carving lino blocks, gouache, acrylics, and many others. She is the illustrator of numerous books, including North Pole Village andthe award-winning picture bookWoven of the World.She currently lives in Northeast Ohio with her family.
