Songju Ma Daemicke, a former software engineer, grew up in Jilin, China. Today, she is an award-winning childrens book author and lives in Bentonville, Arkansas, USA. She loves taking her daughters to visit her siblings in China, enjoying Tai Chi, flying kites and eating all kinds of delicious dumplings.
