Orsini beautifully creates a lively game of pretend, with bright colours and movement providing inspiration for active outdoor games.' Weekend West, Perth [of THE ABC BOOK OF CARS, TRAINS, BOATS AND PLANES] 'Cheryl Orisini's illustrations are typically gorgeous - a real feast for the eyes. Charming and whimsical, I love her use of colour and detail. I personally have only a moderate interest in machines (having already passed through my toddler years) but even I want to know more just by ogling these beautiful pictures.' kids-bookreview.com [of POM POM] 'Cheryl Orsini's absolutely divine illustrations are some of my favourite in a picture book this year.
