"Earth Hounds have fangs at the front and a waggler at the back. To find out which is which, hold a sausage at both ends." Thus Dr Xargle, our friendly alien teacher, begins to teach his class all about man's best friend. This is an hysterically funny book, a guaranteed hit with dog-lovers everywhere, particularly dog-owners, who will vouch for the fact that Earth Hounds can, indeed, "jump as high as a roast beef"!
