Edwina Sparrow is destined for great things, if only she were allowed to get on with it! This proves impossible with her home life the way it is. Gran has amnesia, her mother is going through another of her episodes and her lovesick brother is worse than useless. School is no better, with Krystal Shard and the Gems playing their dangerous bullying game. Typicaly it is up to Edwina to take charge and sort out all their lives while still aiming for an A++ for her science project. That is, of course, unless her mother succeeds in killing her first.
