It is snuggly and soft, patchy and scruffy, and just the perfect shade of grey. But where are those missing buttons...and what is that big hole Follow Grandpa on his quest to find the perfect new cardigan...you'll never guess where he finds it!
Joy Watson began writing stories for children after she and her pharmacist husband, Kevin, had raised nine children of their own. Grandpa and Grandma are characters children have come to love with sometimes one, sometimes the other, winning the gentle battles they have over changes. Joy says: "These books have been fun to write and I am constantly amazed at their popularity, but I believe children and grandparents have a very special bond which thrives on being able to laugh at each other." Joy lives in Havelock North. Wendy Hodder was born and raised in the North Island, and her childhood interest in drawing horses developed later into a career as a freelance illustrator. She has illustrated for advertising, magazines and educational resources, as well as, of course, the Grandpa series. Wendy lives in Foxton.
