Niamh Sharkey won the Bisto Book of the Year Award and the Mother Goose Award for Illustration in 1999 for Tales of Wisdom and Wonder, by Hugh Lupton. She is the creator of the bestselling picture books The Ravenous Beast (978-1-84428-497-9) and Santasaurus (978-1-84428-523-5). Niamh lives in Dublin with her family.
