She has written and illustrated numerous children's books, bringing her lovable characters to life with comical moral lessons. Some of her most popular titles include It's Not My Fault!, Smile A Lot!, I Like Me!, and Harriet and George's Christmas Treat. Beyond her writing and illustrating, she speaks in schools all over the country and also teaches a college class. Carlson has three children, and when she is not writing or drawing she's outside getting exercise or eating candy!
