Author Bio

Kat Merewether was born in the Waikato in 1982. She grew up with a passion for art and drawing. She has three daughters who critique all of her work (a form of brutal, honest quality assurance). Kuwi's First Egg is Kat's 15th illustrated children's book - and the first she has both written and illustrated.
