Julia Durango escribe libros para ninos de todas las edades en un pueblito a orillas del rio Illinois. Entre sus libros mas recientes esta la serie The Second Guard Fantasy, escrito en coautoria con Tracie Zimmer bajo el seud nimo J. D. Vaughn, y su primera novela, titulada The Leveller. Tambien escribi varios libros ilustrados, entre ellos Go-Go Gorillas y Yum! Yuck!, en coautoria con Linda Sue Park. Julia Durango writes books for kids of all ages in a small town by the Illinois River. Recent books include The Second Guard fantasy series, co-authored with Tracie Zimmer under the name J. D. Vaughn, and her debut YA novel, The Leveller. She has also written several picture books, including Go-Go Gorillas and Yum! Yuck!, co-authored by Linda Sue Park.
