Author Bio

Kitty Black is an emerging children's author from Perth, with a background in psychology and research. Her first picture book, Who's Afraid of the Quite Nice Wolf, was published in 2019 (New Frontier), followed by A Crocodile in the Family and Mr Bat Wants a Hat (Hachette Australia). In addition to writing picture books, Kitty has published numerous articles and blog posts about parenting for the likes of Mother.ly, Kidspot, Scary Mommy, Her View From Home, Parent.Co, The Mother Magazine and Mamapedia.

Jess Rose is an illustrator and designer living in Yorkshire, England. She has always loved to draw, and what was once a hobby growing up is now her career. She feels incredibly fortunate to get to spend her days doing something she loves this much! Alongside her work, she can often be found with her husband, two children, cat (Gizmo) and dog (Ghibli). Her free time is spent walking, practising aerial hoop and reading good books. She likes nothing more then spending time in nature, eating good food and laughing with friends and family.
