Douglas Gorslinewas an artist and writer. Gorsline worked with many types of forms, including lithography, painting, and etching. In addition to more formal artistic pursuits, he wrote and illustrated several children's books, an illustrated guide to the history of costume, as well as an edition ofThomas Wolfe's Look Homeward, Angel. He also wrote his own novel, Farm Boy. Gorsline died in 1985.
