Peace can be found almost anywhere if you're looking for it. With rhythmic, rhyming text and a diverse cast of neighbourhood children, this lyrical picture book captures the everyday ways people make the world better for each other, from giving a gift just because to comforting a friend who's feeling blue. With its focus on warmth and comfort, this book will help readers look for the light moments during tough times and remind them of the calm and happiness they find in their own community every day.
"The soothing cadence of the text and the soft illustrations make this an excellent book for sharing one-on-one and for taking stock of small, sometimes unexpected joys."Booklist
