Do you like baking So do we! For storytime today we shared Goose's Cake Bake by Laura Wall and felt inspired to do some of our own. The Nursery class adored this story for its sweet and comical illustrations. It was fantastic to read something with them that discusses saving money, (lots of littlies explained that they too have money boxes at home), raising money, (which happened to be perfectly timed as we had a charity fundraiser of our own last week), and working together to achieve something for our little community. There is a cupcake recipe included on the last page of the book which we can't wait to try out ourselves! Hopefully we'll decide together what our money can be saved towards... (I'm voting for more books myself!)
