Reformatted edition of this core Percy title with a contemporary new cover design. Includes wonderful fold-out poster. It's a beautiful spring morning and a perfect opportunity for Percy to trim the overgrown maze. The animals decide to have some fun hiding on the stone lion in the middle of the maze, to surprise Percy. But the suprise is on them when they fall asleep and Percy, finding them, hides behind the statue and pretends his voice is the lion's telling them to wake up. Percy has unravelled some string through the maze to help him find the way out but the squirrel, thinking he is helping, has wound the string into a ball. Help Percy and his friends find the way out of the park, guiding them through the fold-out maze at the back of the book.
The Rescue Party: '...it's good for reading aloud to under-fives, and later the six-pluses will still want to read it themselves.' The Independent on Sunday After the Storm: '...look no further for the best present for any child from two to six.' Susan Hill, The Sunday Times Percy's Bumpy Ride: 'Imaginatively detailed illustrations and just the right amount of suspense.' Practical Parenting One Snowy Night 'A heartwarming bedtime tale...' Nick Butterworth was born in North London in 1946 and grew up in a sweet shop in Essex. He now lives in Suffolk with his wife Annette and they have two grown-up children, Ben and Amanda. The inspiration for the Percy the Park Keeper books came from Nick's many walks through the local park with the family dog Jake.
