From the one-and-only Dylan Shearsby comes a new adventure in the life of Upside Down Sid. When Sid decides to get a job, hes heartened to find a vacancy at the zoo, but by the end of his first day, hes tattered and torn and barely in one piece. With the help of his friends, Sid trials various other jobs, but its not until an emergency unfolds on the subway that Sid discovers his true calling.
Dylan Shearsby wrote and illustrated his first story at age five, about a pair of giant boots that walked up a mountain. In primary school, Dylan soldpencil drawings of ninja turtles, and by age seventeen hewas drawing cartoons and caricatures for two sports magazines. He now works as a freelance storyboard artist and illustrator, as well as a painter and teacher of watercolour. As a childrens author, Dylan is inspired by the retro style of childhood favourites such as Postman Patand the offbeat La Linea.
Upside Down Sid is Dylan's first picture book. He lives on the Mornington Peninsula with his wife and cat, Wolfgang.
