Author Bio

Dominique Furukawa is a licensed clinical social worker and foster youth advocate based in Los Angeles, California. As an author, Dominique hopes to create a sense of belonging for Black children.

Erika Lynne Jones is an illustrator and author of childrens books that serve as affirming celebrations of culture. Her mission is for every child to know that they are worthy of good and to see images of themselves in literature. She is the illustrator of The Loud Librarian, written by Jenna Beatrice.
