My name is Captain Danger and I'm the bravest of all captains! My stupid shadow has flown off to Cut-It-Out Island. That's a super-dangerous place, but I want him back. So together with my faithful dog Django, I'm going after him, and I've got a feeling we're in for an exciting adventure. Are you coming along Or are you too scared
Victor Engbers was born in 1970 in the south of the Netherlands and studied law before he became a journalist. Only at 40 did he decide to become an artist. His work is about changing perspectives, and more often than not has elements of humor, storytelling and history. He is the creator of Captain Danger, a children's book series about danger. He (mostly) works and lives in Amsterdam.
