Carolinas childhood memories are of endless happy hours spent drawing, and of listening to her brothers exciting bedtime stories. While studying Graphics and Fine Art she realized that she had a passion for illustrating stories, so enrolled on the MA course in Childrens Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.
