Author Bio

Writing makes her heart sing! This is what Dianne Ellis describes as her motivation to write, particularly for children. From having her first poem published in a school magazine at age nine, Dianne has written poetry and stories throughout most of her life. More recently, she has tapped into the wondrous world of children's imaginations through her eight picture books. She loves reading her stories to children, watching their faces as they become absorbed in her characters and words. Dianne, who lives in Austinmer, a cosy village on the south coast of New South Wales in Australia, is looking forward to continuing her journey of writing books that children will read, enjoy and remember.

Albertina Neri is from a small town near Milan, Italy. A freelance illustrator and graphic designer, Albertina also holds creative workshops for children in schools and loves everything about childhood and imagination. As a child Albertina understood the importance of literature and believes that books are treasures made to help children.
