Chren Byng was born in America, but soon moved to her mothers homeland, Australia, where she grew up by the beach. Chrens career in books began over 20 years ago, as a bookseller, and she has worked in publishing since 2005. In her day job as a childrens book publisher, Chren has edited and published award-winning and bestselling books from many of Australias most-loved authors and illustrators. She aspires to have one-tenth of their talent. Chren lives in Sydney on the unceded lands of the Cammeraygal people, with her partner and their young children.
Andrew Joyneris an award-winning Australian illustrator and cartoonist. His first book,The Terrible Plop, written by Australian children's laureate Ursula Dubosarsky, was shortlisted in the Children's Book Council of Australia's Book of the Year Awards and the Prime Ministers Literary Awards. Since then Andrew has illustrated dozens of children's books, including The Pink Hatand #1 New York Times bestsellerDr. Seuss's Horse Museum. His books have been published in more than 25 countries around the world. Andrewlives in Strathalbyn, South Australia, with his family and nineteen pets.
