The rhythmic, rhyming text is written with a wonderful, appealing sentiment that leads the story through twists and turns with just the right amount of tension and drama (peppered with lots of laughs) to engage little ones and make them want more. The beautiful, free illustrations are done in bright, springtime colours and a wonderful expressive quality. Author Bio
Jarvis studied graphic design and previously worked as a record sleeve designer, website designer and an animation director before becoming a childrens book maker. His books with Walker include Tropical Terry, Mrs Mole, Im Home! and Alans Big, Scary Teeth, which won the 2017 V&A Best Illustrated Book. He is also the creator of two board books for babies, This Little Piggy and Mary Had a Little Lamb, and the illustrator of two seasonal titles written by Patricia Toht, Pick a Pine Tree and Pick a Pumpkin.
