Grace and Katie are twins who love to draw. Grace loves everything to be organised and neat, while Katie loves everything to be bright, bold and messy. When they want to draw a map of their home and street, the girls cant agree on how it should be done so they each decide to create their own map. But that doesnt work out quite as well as theyd planned. Perhaps working together might be more fun after all! An imaginative exploration of individuality, sisterhood, creativity and appreciating each others strengths.
"Stories about twins are not common so this is a great addition to the collection so that not only can the children read about themselves in a book but also send a message to the world that they are individuals first but lucky enough to share the special bond that twins have and which both girls discover."
Susanne Merritt is a writer and Managing Editor of childrens literature website Kids Book Review. Liz Anelli is an artist and illustrator who uses collage and printmaking as well as paint, pencils and her computer to create the vivid images that populate her picture books.
