Description

Have you ever wondered just what goes on in a dog's head Now you can find out in this funny rhyming story! I am Dog. Dog is me. I like walkies. I like tree. I like rolls in foxy pong. Foxy pong is nice and strong! A day in the life of a dog... told from the dog's point of view. Follow one cheeky little dog, as it sniffs, rolls and races through a fun-filled day. There are sticks to fetch, ducks to chase, tasty treats to chomp... and of course, cuddles! I Am Dog is the perfect book for dog lovers of all ages. Created by Peter Bently and Chris Chatterton, illustrator of the bestselling Ten Minutes to Bed series.

Author Bio

Peter Bently is the award-winning author of many books for younger children. These include King Jack and the Dragon (one of the American Library Association's Notable Books of the Year), The Great Dog Bottom Swap (shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize) and Cats Ahoy!, (winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize). He lives in London. Chris Chatterton began his career in graphic design and animation, working on a variety of projects including Dr Who and CBBC's The Dumping Ground. Chris' passion for illustration then led him to pursue a career as a freelance artist working on a number of children's books including the Gremlins picture book series and Dino Diggers. Now writing the stories as well, Chris considers his Gus picture book story to be semi-autobiographical as he claims his loveable grumpy dog character is based on his own grumpy moods! Originally from County Durham, Chris now lives and works in the basement studio of his house in Newcastle upon Tyne where he is also a Committee Member for the Society of Authors in the North.
