Funny and perceptive picture storybook about Polly, who complains a lot.
Polly is an active and determined little girl who likes to do things. Not any old thing but challenging ones, like trying to fly, or dig to Australia, or climb up the side of the house. But her Mum is always saying, "You can't do that." Polly thinks it's all most unfair: why can't she "It's really, really, not fair!" is her favourite remark. One day, however, Polly makes a big discovery about people who complain too much.
Angie Morgan is an author-illustrator whose stories show an acute and sympathetic understanding of the ways in which certain things can seem problematic to young children. Otter-Barry Books have also published her Small Stanley's Big List of Scary Stuff (2023), and I Really, Really, Don't Like Parties (2024). Angie lives in Bath.
