Author Bio

Helen Turner has been working as a freelance illustrator since she graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a Ba Honours in Graphic Design in 2003. She has produced work for greeting card companies such as Hallmark and Watermark, as well as regularly illustrating for Mizz and Bliss magazine. More recently she has been illustrating books and her works have been published by Oxford University Press, QED Publishing, Bloomsbury, Orchard Books, Scholastic and Usborne. She loves to combine traditional techniques with digital programmes such as Photoshop. She often uses a lot of interesting fabrics and textures in her work and particularly enjoys bringing to life quirky little characters!
