Ruth creates her illustrations in collage entirely by hand; painting, cutting and layering paper to make bright and playful images.In 2018, Ruth's debut author-illustrator picture book Not So Scary Bear was published by Windy Hollow Books, followed byNot So Quiet Mousein August 2019. Ruth's first picture book with Little Hare There's a Tiger Out Therewaspublished July 2019, and her second Little Hare title Love From Australia will be released June 2020.
Ruth wasshortlisted for the World Illustration Award 2019, children's book category.
