Description

'Perfect for pre-school age and plenty of read-aloud enjoyment.'
-- Reading Time

Nannie lives on a farm with rolling hills, a muddy creek, and lots of animals.

Nannie loves her farm. But what Nannie loves most is when her family comes to stay.

Kylie Dunstan's simple, warm text and colourful collage illustrations make Nannie Loves a delightful picture book to read and explore.

MORE PRAISE

'Kylie Dunstan's quirky illustrations using collage, gouache and pencil, balance beautifully with this simple story about a family visiting Nana on her farm. A gentle rhythmic pace and engaging repetition lead the reader around the farm-shooing sheep, herding cows, feeding chooks, planting seeds and driving the tractor. Nannie loves everything on her farm, and most of all she loves her family coming to visit. Perfect for pre-school age and plenty of read-aloud enjoyment.' -- Reading Time

'The text is simple yet lyric, with the repeating line of Nannie loves which will draw the children in. Yet it is Kylie's illustrations that I feel make this book truly magical. A blend of pencil, paint and collage, the illustrations are so bright and cheerful they virtually bounce off the page.' -- Buzz Words
