This is Sher Foley's second picture book with Scholastic NZ. Her first, The Cat With No Name (illustrated by Brian Lovelock), was a Storylines Notable Book 2010. Sher works as a science librarian and lives in Auckland. Illustrator Deborah Hinde has illustrated many children's books including Scholastic's bestselling A Kiwi Night Before Christmas and A Kiwi Jingle Bells. She lives in Te Awamutu. Paora Tibble has worked in children's/educational publishing for over 12 years and was a senior reo Maori editor at Learning Media Ltd. He has also had several children's books published in te reo Maori. His iwi are Ngati Porou, Te Whanau-a-Apanui, Ngati Tuwharetoa and Ngati Raukawa.
