Susanna Isern is an award-winning children's books author whose work has been translated into more than nine languages. She is the author of The Winter Train, What Are You Scared of Little Mouse and The Magic Ball of Wool (Silver Medal at the 2013 Moonbeam Children's Book Awards) among many other children's books. Silvia Alvarez was born in the tropical coastal city of La Ceiba (Honduras) by a Honduran father and Spanish mother. At the age of seven she moved to Spain, living a few years in Granada, then in Linares (Jaen) and then settled in Seville where she graduated in Fine Arts. She is a professional children's picture book illustrator for several years. She is the illustrator of many successful children picture books, now lately the popular Lucy's Light
