Author Bio

Caryl Hart is a full-time children's writer, who enjoys running creative events and workshops at schools, libraries and festivals. Her first picture book, Don't Dip Your Chips in Your Drink, Kate! won two regional awards, and was shortlisted for a third. Her Princess series, illustrated by Sarah Warburton, has sold over 220,000 copies worldwide. Briony May Smith has worked on concept art and character designs for animation and advertising and her books have been translated into over 20 languages. Her work day mainly consists of writing, drawing and illustrating, interrupted only when her dog, Finbar, demands his walk.
