Mary Mac Ogden holds a doctorate in United States History with expertise in southern history. She is an independent scholar, writer and advocate. Her research interests explore the relationship between progress and power. She is the mother of two daughters, one serving in the Marine Corps in Japan.Isabel Humphreys is an accomplished musician, writer, illustrator and animator. She has illustrated her own works and recorded the cd Rogue Chapel with her band, The Family Band. She is currently working on a book and screenplay series based on the whimsical characters she creates. Presently, Isabel is a student at NC State College of Art and Design.
