Author Bio

Leyla Torres is the author and illustrator of several books for children, including Saturday Sancocho, Subway Sparrow, and The Kite Festival. She holds a masters in fine arts and education. Leyla grew up in Bogota, Colombia, but now spends her time between New York City and Vermont, with her husband and their cat, Coco. leylatorres.com
