Nancy Loewen holds a Masters degree in creative writing and now concentrates on writing for children and young adults. She is a 2010 recipient of the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association of Educational Publishers. Gerald Guerlais was born in France in 1974. He grew up in no fewer than nine different cities and took to drawing in order to make new friends. He is a graduate of Olivier de Serres (aka The National School of Applied Art).
