Dad might not have a superhero mask or wear his pants outside his trousers, but his super snores can be heard a thousand miles away, he tells super jokes and can even make superscary monsters go away at bedtime!
Timothy Knapman has written lots of picture books including Dinosaurs in the Supermarket, Mungo and the Spiders From Space (and its sequels), Eleanor's Eyebrows and Guess What I Found in Dragon Wood. He also writes fiction and non-fiction for children, and his books have been translated into fifteen languages. In his spare time, Tim writes plays and musicals, because on stage, as between the covers of a book, the real and the fantastical can collide, and that is where all great storytelling comes from.
Joe Berger, the illustrator of Hubble Bubble, Granny Trouble is a children's author, illustrator and cartoonist who also makes the occasional award- winning animated short film and title-sequence. He is co-creator of the Berger & Wyse food cartoon in the Guardian magazine each Saturday, and has illustrated numerous books, inside and out, for children and grown-ups. Joe lives in Bristol with his wife, three daughters, two cats and a small dog.
