Sweet Petiteis a wonderful childrens story about a loveable guinea pig who adores cakes. Written by Poh Ling Yeow and illustrated by Sarah Rich, this is a delightful tale of finding friendship. In the book Sweet Petite learns that friendship is about allowing your friends the freedom to be who they are. Poh and Sarah also include a few of their favourite, sweet recipes, to share with family and friends.
Poh Ling Yeow
Poh was a finalist in the inaugural series of MasterChef Australia and has now hosted four television series and published two cookbooks. Poh and her recipes are widely loved and enjoyed by food lovers everywhere. Coming from a huge family of proud Chinese Malaysian home cooks, Poh prefers to be called a cook. Poh was a fulltime artist before her life was turned on its head with her crazy love for slaving over a hot stove, but she continues to paint and exhibit her work.
In Poh and Co on SBS in 2015, Poh and husband Jono created an edible garden as the first step in transforming their suburban house into a home. And Poh also developed her small business as a purveyor of home-cooked delicacies alongside Jono, best friend and fellow artist, Sarah and Sarahs husband Matt. Poh works on the story for Sweet Petite while Sarah works on the illustrations.
A new series of Poh and Co will air on SBS between May and July 2016.
