Andrew Kelly is an environmentalist and writer. He was born in Melbourne, grew up in Melbourne and, apart from a few years in England, the land of a portion of his ancestors, he has spent his life in Melbourne. Andrew is passionate about the city and its history, and has just retired from the role of the Yarra River Keeper. He has written numerous books for children. Dean Jones is a freelance illustrator with a keen interest in mixing 2D and 3D digital techniques with traditional methods. He has worked on various commercial advertisement projects, book and magazine covers, and received critical praise for his illustrations in Ned Kelly's Jerilderie Letter and The Dragon Companion. The Macro Book of Microis the first book he has written for Wild Dog Books.
